What You'll Do
|
Summary/Objective: The role will play a crucial role in overseeing, facilitating, and directing all branch projects, assisting with system upgrades/updates and testing, creating branch reports, and developing and executing test plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management and a strong understanding of branch operations. The role must provide quality support, maintain detailed, well-organized documentation (according to established standards), and ensure effective tracking and communication of project progress. Essential Functions:

- Facilitate the development of project plans accurately defining project scope and objectives to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope managing them from inception to completion
- Lead necessary data-gathering efforts
- Assist in the creation and review of project requirements, comprehensive test plans, procedures, staff communications, presentations, and related training materials
- Acts as an application administrator for various branch applications serving as a technical liaison between the business area, IT, and third-party vendors
- Coordinate and engage internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure that project specifications, timelines, and quality standards are met
- Lead and/or facilitate cross-functional meetings providing comprehensive feedback to the management team and project stakeholders including third party vendors, regarding potential impacts, deliverables, decisions, communication plans and other pertinent information
- Monitor all moving parts of the project keeping them synchronized and moving forward
- Assess and communicate potential project risks and setbacks
- Manage and track the progress of projects ensuring defined schedules are followed and deliverables and deadlines are met
- Outline changes to project plans, schedules and project scope; provide regular updates to the project team
- Analyze project data and provide consistent and accurate reporting on all aspects of the project escalating issues as needed to management in a timely manner
- Supervise and assign project tasks based on appropriate individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
- Assist in the validation of upgrades and enhancements related to the core system as well as any other systems utilized by DCU
- Manage user acceptance testing and implementation of activities
- Deliver project-related training and presentations when needed
- Stay abreast of current processes, system changes/upgrades/releases, and regulatory requirements related to all DCU areas quickly adapting to any project assigned based on each department's needs
- Foster positive and productive relationships
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).

What You'll Need
|
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate degree or its equivalent in course work/training or related certification
- Minimum of three years' work experience preferably within a financial institution
- Prior experience in project management and/or bank operations preferred
- Experience with financial institution systems and software preferred
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Excellent PC Skills required, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Attain proficiency in other software as required
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
