WHAT TO EXPECT
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Siloam Springs, AR plant, you will be a Senior Cost Accountant.
  • Reports directly to site Controller and has responsibility for mid-level accounting activities, including but not limited to: Payroll, Accounts Payable, costing, budgeting, forecasting, inventory, month-end closing and supervisory duties to the staff accountants.
Key responsibilities (to name a few):
  • Completion of daily, monthly, and annual accounting activities as assigned by Controller
  • Review labor statistical and financial data for budgeting and forecasting
  • Supervise payroll processing
  • Analyze spend accounts and prepare, review, and finalize financial results on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Prepare and supervise the general ledger account reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with corporate Mandate for Fundamental Financial Controls and existing SOX matrices
ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; previous cost accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with SOX controls auditing processes
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • SQL knowledge a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude for critical analysis and creative problem solving
  • Project management skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
