This role is for a product manager with experience in the RF communication market and a proven track record of defining and launching profitable new products to market that drive revenue growth.

As a Product Manager based in Morgan Hill, CA you will have responsibility for product managing existing products and defining new products in markets for General Purpose usage. This will be achieved by developing a deep understanding of our markets and using this insight to define and propose product roadmaps and new products.

Key Responsibilities include:



  • Creation and maintenance of business development plans for each product line.
  • Track global market trends.
  • Regular contact with key customers in domestic and international markets.
  • Define: product, price, promotion, positioning strategy, development, and implementation.
  • Create product definitions, product requirement documents, new product introduction, product ramp-up, maintenance, obsolescence.
  • Development and delivery of sales tools including data sheets, brochures, advertising, web content, sales training, customer training, demo procedures, competitive analyses, and applications notes.
  • Monitor competitive activities and propose counter measures.
  • Reporting to the Marketing Manager based in Morgan Hill.
  • Willing to travel and learn new technologies and applications.


Requirements:



  • Holds technical or engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of cellular radio layer or similar RF technologies
  • Should have strong RF and microwave fundamentals.
  • Should have at least 3-4 years of experience in operating Test and measurement equipment like Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network analyzer, Power meters/sensors etc., and related measurements
  • Supplementary marketing qualifications such as MBA is highly desirable.

  • Articulate and able to express themselves clearly and concisely using presentations or in open conversation.
  • Makes decision based on validated customer and sales channel input.
  • Sets own priorities based on objectives and manages own time effectively.
  • Builds strong relationships with regional sales managers and sales engineers.
  • Works effectively with engineering teams and can articulate marketing requirements clearly.
  • Willing to travel for up to 30% of the time, including travel in own time.
