Position: Temp to hire

Pay: $25-$30

Shift: 2:00PM- 10:30PM


As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, prototypes, and equipment. You will work with various tools and technologies to support the production of high-quality electrical circuits and systems. Your responsibilities will include following schematics, diagrams, written/verbal instructions, and ensuring that all processes adhere to established quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Assembly & Testing: Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, and prototypes based on established designs and specifications. This includes working with test equipment, ensuring that all components meet quality standards, and addressing any system anomalies.



  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Use diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot electrical and circuit issues. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner to maintain production schedules.



  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of tests, assemblies, and troubleshooting efforts. Write clear reports, memos, and documentation to track the progress of electrical systems and components, including test results, modifications, and change requests.



  • Test Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and calibration on electrical testing and assembly equipment. Ensure that tools and machinery are in optimal working condition to maintain the integrity of the production process.



  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production processes. Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to team members and supervisors.



  • Quality Control: Adhere to all quality control procedures and safety standards to ensure the highest level of quality in manufacturing. Help identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure compliance with company quality policies.



  • Process Adherence: Follow prescribed procedures for testing, assembly, and troubleshooting, while adhering to the company's safety and quality guidelines. Suggest and implement improvements as necessary.




Leadership Role:

While this role is focused on technical execution, you will also have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior technicians and other team members in the proper execution of tasks and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications:




  • Education: AA Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.



  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably with electrical or electronic systems.



  • Skills:




    • Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems and components.



    • Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).



    • Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving electrical circuit issues.



    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.



    • Knowledge of industry standards and quality control practices.






Work Environment & Physical Demands:




  • Work in a manufacturing or lab environment with exposure to electrical testing equipment.
