Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Post daily deposits, zero remits, and insurance denials into the billing system
• Make remote and in-person daily deposits with banking institutions
• Review and understand insurance policies and Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
• Maintain effective communication with insurance carriers, patients/families, and internal teams
• Handle outbound calls to patients and insurance companies
• Perform clerical tasks such as faxing and emailing as needed
• Report concerns or issues directly to the Revenue Cycle Manager and Supervisor
• Assist with other responsibilities and projects as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing
• Ability to read accounting payment ledgers and EOBs
• Strong understanding of medical insurance and payment policies
• Previous DME experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
