Mechanical Engineer - Robotics/EE
Scope:
* Strong understanding of materials and manual/machine fabrication processes.
* Solid understanding of available automation components and vendors.
* Knowledgeable with relevant safety, industrial, and institutional standards & experience designing systems that comply with the standards.
* Has the ability to develop, test and evaluate theoretical designs
* experience solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, subcontractors and suppliers.
* Manage projects using engineering principles/techniques
* Experience producing detailed specs & design docs to build/operate the equipment it represents.
* Able to review production of prototype designs & recommend modifications following operational test results.
Required:
* Experience with one or more of the following: SolidWorks, Pro-E, NX , Catia, or Autocad
* Experience with the following - servos, stepper motors, drive, bearings, industrial robots, pneumatics, PLCs.
* Through experience with modeling & PLM/PDM experience in industrial automation, robotics.
* Solid machine design & build aptitude focused on electrical and mechanical systems.
* Experience with design for manufacturing.
* Experience with electrical Panel and system design which are compliant with relevant standards.
Pluses:
* Solidworks Electrical, Autocad Electrical
* PLC, Python, C++ Programming

Estimated Max Rate: $60.00
