JOB SUMMARY

The Director, HR Business Partner will be instrumental in creating a positive workplace culture while fostering growth and effectiveness across operating sites and market locations. The position will evaluate organizational goals, provide strategic guidance and support the implementation of initiatives. This position will oversee Associate Relations, staffing, performance management and other operational HR tasks at a site or market level.

*This position will oversee our Retail OR Manufacturing Division.

WHAT YOU WILL DOING:



  • Strategic Leadership: Enable strategic change aligned to business needs by supporting all aspects of the development and implementation of workforce and human capital processes and People strategies (e g., supporting talent aspects of organization structure changes, associate engagement and productivity, etc.). Participate in the development of business unit/functional strategy with specific input to the workforce needs. Lead, inspire, encourage and coach immediate team, while influencing positive relationships across the organization.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with senior leaders and teams from multiple sites to deliver HR solutions that align with our strategic objectives, including but not limited to talent management, performance development, engagement, employee relations, and hourly workforce planning. Contribute to the development of HR policies, ensuring compliance with regional and national labor laws and standards.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Harness the power of workforce analytics to discern actionable trends, diagnose root causes, and devise targeted interventions to accelerate organizational progress. Leverage industry best practices and key metrics to advise decision-making and drive performance optimization.
  • Associate and Leader Engagement: Demonstrate a willingness to immerse oneself in the operational realities of the business by traveling to manufacturing sites and/or market locations, to cultivate collaboration and alignment.
  • People and HR Program Advocacy: Partner with the business and HR colleagues to implement key talent initiatives, communicating the business value of HR initiatives, identifying Associate needs to incorporate into program design, and managing HR program roll out to minimize business disruption.
  • Associate Relations: Act as a key point of contact providing guidance to leadership in associate relations matters. Oversees and manages Associate Relations, Staffing, performance management and other operational HR tasks at a site or market level.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Work closely with assigned business leaders to assess needs for talent acquisition and onboarding. Creates talent management and organization effectiveness strategies and supports implementation of those initiatives.
  • HR Service Delivery: Collaborates with HR Shared Services to ensure HR programs and services are delivered and achieving desired results. Provide support for administrative duties as needed.


WHAT IS REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or a related field.
  • 8 years of related experience across various subject areas within human resources, including but not limited to organization effectiveness, associate relations and investigation, talent acquisition, compensation and performance management.
  • Strong customer orientation with client relationship skills and confirmed experience in developing consultative relationships with senior and mid-level leaders, including the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Focused approach to drive complex, or multiple simultaneous projects to successful completion with agility to pivot based on business needs.
  • Experience in leading organizational transformation and change management across different locations and regions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the changing and dynamic workforce landscape in North American manufacturing, retail and corporate functions, including knowledge of US employment laws and regulations.
  • Financial competence: Track record of working with numbers and financial data to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to travel to local sites and/or markets as needed.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Master's degree in Business Administration preferred.
