Purpose of Job This position is responsible for supporting the strategic, technical, operational, analytical, and financial management of the Support Services division. This includes developing and managing collaborative initiatives and administering software that support the analytical needs for each department within the Support Services division. This position uses data to create a visual to aid leaders in developing strategies and communicate effectively. Job Functions
- Determine operational objectives by understanding business request, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Collect, analyze and interpret raw data into reporting tools that drive decisions.
- Utilize existing data gathering techniques and establish new as required.
- Gather, interpret and recommend actionable steps to improve process to optimize results.
- Discover patterns and trends within datasets.
- Develop workflow charts and diagrams.
- Perform industry best practice research using available data sources.
- Provide software administration support for select systems as assigned.
- Implement new and/or modify software and tools to enhance overall Support Services analytical functions.
- Maintain and create flow-charts, work plans and documentation for processes and procedures on maintaining data integrity throughout the system.
- Create documentation to support developed processes and to assist in training others.
- Ensures all key individuals are informed of program status and measurable improvements.
- Ability to translate customer requests into actionable system enhancements.
- Work with leaders to create presentations that convey intended message.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education / Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, business, engineering, finance (or similar) plus 2 years of relevant work experience OR
- 5+ years of experience in operations analytical support field
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting health care facilities management from a strategic, financial and analytical perspective
- Experience with Power BI
- Software administration experience in an IWMS platform
- Experience with SQL queries and relational databases
