Hourly Range: $27-34 Depending upon experience

The Maintenance Technician is a multi-skilled craftsperson responsible for the installation/start-up and troubleshooting of all mechanical and electrical processes used in manufacturing, as well as support equipment located in the building or on the grounds-the objective being to maximize production and functional longevity and appearance of the building, grounds and equipment.

What You Will Do:



  • Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
  • Preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
  • Responsible for first-level repairs and general maintenance tasks.
  • Observes devices and equipment in operation and troubleshoot problems.
  • Under general supervision, performs skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical and building systems.
  • May assist with installation and preparations of equipment for startup.
  • Repairs or replaces defective parts and installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
  • Perform all PM's when scheduled and make repairs or replace items found broken or missing. (Sensors, Motors, sprockets, chains, gearboxes etc.)
  • Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.
  • Experience with wire tracing and troubleshooting in control cabinets.
  • Assists with pump, motor, gearbox, rollers, chain, etc. installs.
  • Must be able to weld, grind, use torches and drill press.
  • Fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Perform all PM's when scheduled and make repairs or replace items found broken or missing. (Sensors, Motors, sprockets, chains, gearboxes etc.).

What You Will Need:



  • General knowledge and experience with chemical process systems including but not limited to pumps, valves, piping, control devices, gauges, and regulators is a plus.
  • Experience working with 480, 240 and 110v power.
  • Mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic experience is a must.
  • 3 to 4 years plant manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Able to work all shifts, if needed.
  • Arc Flash experience preferred.
  • Two year technical degree, Vocational, or Apprenticeship Program preferred.
  • H.S. Diploma or GED required.
