Job Summary:

Fishbeck is seeking an innovative and results-oriented Senior Business Development Leader to lead our strategic growth initiatives, drive brand visibility, and deepen connections with the clients we serve. This position blends business development expertise, marketing acumen, and a passion for engagement to position Fishbeck as a trusted leader in the industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in building impactful relationships, developing growth strategies, and delivering measurable results.
Primary Responsibilities:
Business Development:


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Fishbeck's strategic goals in key markets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders to expand Fishbeck's network and influence.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of compelling proposals, presentations, and client pitches to secure new business.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs and objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform and refine business development strategies.


Marketing Strategy:


  • Partner with marketing team to create and execute targeted marketing campaigns that enhance Fishbeck's brand recognition.
  • Oversee the development of impactful marketing materials, including brochures, digital content, case studies, and social media initiatives.
  • Leverage data insights to refine marketing strategies, measure ROI, and optimize efforts.
  • Represent Fishbeck at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote the firm's expertise and services.


Community Engagement:


  • Actively engage with local organizations, government entities, and community leaders to build relationships and identify collaborative opportunities.
  • Represent Fishbeck at client events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen the firm's public presence.
  • Assist with or lead efforts as appropriate to foster partnerships that align with Fishbeck's purpose to help people realize their visions while benefiting society.
  • Desired Education/Licensure:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in business development, marketing, or public relations are a plus.


Desired Skills/Experience:


  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, marketing, or related fields, preferably within the A/E industry.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed business development targets.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and experience creating data-driven strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for community engagement and public relations.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and industry networking opportunities.


Minimum Physical Requirements:
