Overview
To perform routine and specialized examinations in Ultrasound; adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and/or therapeutic results; prepare patients for examinations. This requires independent judgment to adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a radiologist Qualifications License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Education: Certificate of Completion; Associate's Degree Other Knowledge/Skills: Responsibilities Clinical Excellence/Patient Care Performs ultrasound procedures in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination within the guidelines, policies, procedures and standards of Medical Imaging to assigned patients of all ages
Clinical Excellence Maintains working knowledge of equipment in order to function in all areas of ultrasound.
Relationship Building Performs support functions of the Medical Imaging department to ensure patient expectations and needs are met and assumes personal responsibility for training fellow technologists/students.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $32.6per hour - $56.07per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
