MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (CORRECTIONAL FACILITY) $5,776.00 - $6,928.00 per Month Final Filing Date: Job Description and Duties
Under the general direction of the Chief Engineer I, the Maintenance Mechanic will supervise and work with a crew of at least two inmates, and work independently, to perform a wide range of skilled maintenance duties consisting of maintenance, alteration, and repair of buildings and mechanical/electrical systems. Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
