Proposal Coordinator Location: HQ - Fairfax, VA Hybrid Remote- 3 days onsite per week Clearance: Able to get a clearance Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Proposal Coordinator. This role involves managing, overseeing, and tracking all activities related to the creation and production of proposals. Responsibilities: Participate in developing compliant proposals by leading and participating in the proposal development activities. Guide proposal team members and assist them in understanding and executing the proposal development tasks they are assigned. Develop and maintain the proposal development schedule, outline, and compliance matrix. Lead critical milestones in the proposal process including storyboards, color reviews, and content development discussions. Manage technical volumes and sections, including technical and management approaches, personnel and staffing approaches, past performance, and corporate experience. Coordinate all production aspects (word processing, graphics, editing, proofreading, reproduction, printing, collation, and binding) services supporting proposal activities. Review and facilitate the review of the final proposal. Review all deliverable documents. Facilitate meetings (e.g., kick-off, tag-ups, etc.) Manage and allocate proposal staff and resources (technical writers, graphic artists, subject matter experts, subcontractors, and independent contractors) assigned to proposals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline Highly organized, team-oriented, enthusiastic, independent thinker, collaborative, and flexible. Outstanding written and oral communication is critical. Demonstrated analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to positively influence others Proficiency in Microsoft Office (expert level with MS Word) Preferred experience: 3-5 years desirable in Federal Government proposal management, proposal development, and the direct management of proposal operations. Some experience with IT/technical proposals Experience working in the Shipley proposal process and developing storyboards, mock-ups, proposal outlines, and compliance matrices Demonstrated knowledge of IDIQs/GWACs, quick turn proposals, and larger efforts.
