Lead Product Manager, Online Shopping Experience

The Cox Digital team is seeking a Lead Product Manager to deliver customer shopping experiences that drive sales, improve efficiency and increase customer satisfaction for Cox Residential and Mobile product offerings. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to creatively solve complex business problems using tools and technology to meet customer needs. The Lead Product Manager will leverage customer analytics to analyze and identify opportunities to optimize the customer experience for specific journeys through our digital ecosystem.

What You'll Do

  • Support digital strategy and execution efforts for customer shopping experiences including the creation of product concept, management of development process, testing of the solutions and launch to all markets.
  • Translate business objectives into clear and defined business requirements to drive functional specifications and technical requirements.
  • Develop a documented product vision and strategy which aligns with and/or enhances customer needs, market and competitive trends and corporate strategy.
  • Direct the prioritization of product improvements and necessary resources across the product portfolio to optimize customer experience and increase conversion.
  • Develop and manage Product Roadmaps to sequence delivery of capabilities in fulfillment of the product strategy based on business priorities.
  • Participate in the development of business cases which define the product value proposition to support product and services roadmap investments in collaboration with business partners.
  • Analyze customer behavior insights and product performance metrics to identify friction in the user experience and leverage data to inform future roadmap delivery.
  • Identify customer expectations and unmet needs with product and services to innovate and create solutions that address gaps and enhance customer experience. Directs product features from ideation through deployment.
  • Identify key performance metrics that measure success of tactics employed to deliver on product strategy; review insights with internal stakeholders, leveraging quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Effectively and transparently communicate current product state to include roadmap, successes, opportunities, and ensure clear alignment to vision across the organization.
  • Proactively build and maintain relationships across the organization and leverage those relationships to effectively manage and deliver upon customer experience outcomes.
  • Assist in the creation and optimization of operational practices and procedures to drive efficiency.
  • Participate in strategic planning, roadmap development and budgeting activities.
  • Capable of documenting Epics, Features, and User Stories in delivery of product capabilities.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise of Agile methodologies to drive efficient delivery through technology teams and optimize the work flowing through the digital team.


Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in related discipline (e.g. Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
  • 6 years of experience required in related field (e.g. Technology, Marketing, Process Improvement, etc.). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience or a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience.
  • 4+ years direct experience as a Product Manager
  • 3 or more years in digital product delivery, digital marketing, web strategy, web development, or equivalent
  • 3 years' experience in a management/leadership role
  • Ability to lead product ideation, discovery and delivery in an Agile environment with a strong focus on collaboration between customers, stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects or activities that can be impacted by shifting priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
  • Experience with digital product lifecycle and adherence to digital product development methodologies
  • Demonstrate strong technical and market knowledge
  • Open to some travel, as needed


Preferred

  • Experience in telecommunications or high-tech environment
  • Agile delivery experience - SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, or similar
  • Jira Project Tracking Software experience
  • Experience with website design and user experience flows
  • Design Thinking Training, Certification, or Experience
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance


USD 106,700.00 - 177,900.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $106,700.00 - $177,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
