Core Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

* Must be familiar with all department operations-service line(s) to obtain maximum efficiency.

* Report any problems with lifts or elevators to the Supervisor immediately.

* Maintaining good housekeeping practices in workspace.

* Sets up line(s) as required.

* Supplies line(s) with raw material, packaging supplies, etc.

* Keeps and takes inventories as necessary.

* May assist in departmental cleanup as required.

* Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

* Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

* Must have adequate reading, writing and math abilities.

Tools & Equipment:

* Pen, date stamp, knife, carton truck, broom, electric transporter and garbage containers.

* The majority of the time is spent in the plant environment and will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.

* Noise level is loud in the production area and hearing protection is always required.

* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

* Must be able to lift packing materials and stack pallets to heights of 4-5 feet.

* Vision requirement of at least 20/40 for near and far vision.

Safety Equipment/Training Requirement:

* Bump cap, hair/beardnet, eye protection/goggles, hand protection, hearing protection, rainwear and safety shoes

Mandatory Training/Competency to be Earned:

* Proper lifting, PIT and PPE
