Apply Now > Save Job Job Saved With general guidance in a team environment, responsible for various inspection requirements Responsibilities may include some or all of the following: Maintain accurate and up-to-date acceptance and rejection records and/or certifications systems as required by the applicable specifications. Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection and/or calibration of parts. Identify defective conditions and test failures and prepare all appropriate documentation and/or calibration history. INSPECTION Perform inspection on detailed machined parts using a wide variety of measuring and test equipment to determine acceptability or rejections of parts and/or parts finish. Interpret specifications, charts and manuals. Use mathematics to convert blueprint dimensions and tolerances. Work within the guidelines of drawings, schematics, blueprints, route sheets, travelers, quality directives, technical engineering specifications, customer's requirements and military standards and/or calibrations procedures. Observe and perform audits of a moderate scope or complexity on assembly and test, machining and other functions for compliance to procedures. CALIBRATION Issue to or remove instruments/inspected parts from various areas. Perform calibration of a moderate scope or complexity on various types of measuring and test equipment. Use standards to make moderately complex set-ups for calibration of measuring and test equipment. Qualifications
