Mortgage Sales Liaison

Description

The Mortgage Sales Liaison will help drive revenue facilitating real time market solutions for the Sales Team by working directly with the Marketing Team. Will help drive sales by providing support, information, guidance, and stay in close communication with the Mortgage Loan Officers and the Mortgage Sales Manager. Works with the mortgage loan team, trains, develop customer relationships, promote mortgage loan products, and attain volume and profit goals.



  • Utilize ANBTX systems and applications to find new builders that Mortgage Loan Officers can solicit for business. Analyze current markets and capitalize on them by taking advantage of changes
  • Identify positive engagements and gaps in campaign performance, i.e, dropping rates - email campaign to current customer base with higher rates working with Marketing to create buck slips for drive-throughs and walk-in customers. Ensures collateral is available and fresh for all Banking Centers
  • Assist Mortgage Loan Officers in financial education awareness for ANBTX first time homebuyer products
  • Assist Sales Manager to recruit new Mortgage Loan Officers by creating campaigns while utilizing systems and applications
  • Automate outreach to borrowers throughout the mortgage process to include distributing leads to the team, nurturing leads to application, educating and informing borrowers, and providing outreach after the loan is closed
  • Helps onboard new Mortgage Loan Officers and trains them on loan origination system (Encompass), and instructs them about how to submit new products such as construction, FHA, VA, etc. Helps with pay and is the go-to for the first 90 to 120 days
  • Understand and comply with mortgage industry regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, Truth-in-Lending laws, etc.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent work experience my satisfy this requirement
  • 3-5 years in mortgage loan origination and sales. Three years of commission based mortgage sales and residential lending experience is preferred.


Skills:



  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; must be able to do simple math and carry out written instructions
  • Travel to a variety of locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required
  • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs.
