We are seeking a passionate and strategic Leadership Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement programs that cultivate leadership skills and drive organizational success. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping our leadership culture and fostering a continuous learning environment. The Corporate Headquarters location in Providence is preferred, but candidates in other Gilbane locations will also be considered.

Responsibilities

    Design, implement, and manage comprehensive leadership development programs.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify leadership development gaps and opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars on leadership topics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align leadership development strategies with organizational goals and performance, engage stakeholders in the development of programs, and communicate plans and progress with various stakeholder groups.
  • Create and manage a leadership competency framework.
  • Research and incorporate trends and best practices in leadership development both in-industry and broadly.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of leadership programs and make continuous improvements.
  • Manage team work planning, individual assignments, and group collaboration to ensure efficient, effective performance.
  • Mentor, train and coach team members.
  • Partner with external consultants and vendors as needed.


Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years professional experience in leadership development or a related role.
  • Proven success in designing and implementing leadership programs for a large employee base with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Facilitator certification (such as Development Dimensions International) is preferable.
  • Prior experience in the A/E/C industry is preferable.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of leadership theories/practices and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills with ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze a business problem, assess and identify development needs, and translate into leadership development strategy and tactics.
  • Strong project management skills including ability to set targets, track to milestones, and complete projects.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems, content development tools (such as Articulate 360 and Vyond), and other relevant software.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

For Rhode Island this ranges from $121,000.0-$147,800.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
