About the role

2025 Auctane Summer Internship Program

Applicants must be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university

Interviews: On a rolling basis through March, 2025

First Day of Onsite Orientation: June 3, 2025

Last day of the Internship Program: August 7, 2025

This is a paid internship.

Ability to work 40 hours per week (except for the week of July 4th)

Position is hybrid in Austin, TX (Monday & Friday remotely & Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in-office)

This is a 9 week internship role within the Accounting department.

What will you be doing?

• Assist in preparing and posting journal entries
• Help with calculations for journal entries and accruals
• Assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
• Help reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
• Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
• Perform financial review and analysis of P&L accounts
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Help research accounting pronouncements
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

• An individual who is working towards their accounting degree who wants to apply their knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to real world scenarios that accountants
• Located in or near the Austin, Texas area

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
