Contract Project Manager

Responsible for all aspects of program performance with a specific client and contract. Provides overall direction to all project level activities and personnel for that contract.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Contracting Program Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Contracting Program Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for all aspects of program/project performance.
  • Provides overall direction to all project level activities and personnel.
  • Solves complex technical, administrative, and managerial problems and is responsible for interfacing with customer management and technical personnel.
  • Directs business planning efforts for various contract programs.
  • Prepares and oversees program development proposals in response to customer requests and internal recommendations.
  • Develops plans, organizes, coordinates, and allocates staffing resources to contracted task plans and sub-task plans given contract work statements and written or verbal customer directions and other contract commitments.
  • Selects, directs, supervises, trains, monitors, and evaluates program personnel and work performance of project managers and task leaders.
  • Prepares and tracks timely Deliverable submissions as applicable.
  • Regularly exercises independent judgment as well as a high level of analytical skill in solving complex and unusual technical, administrative, and managerial problems.
  • Provides technical oversight as needed.
  • Researches and analyzes performance data and prepares company and program progress reports.
  • Organizes, conducts, and attends progress meetings, briefings, performance reviews with customer representatives and project team members.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Contracting Program Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

* MA/MS in Management, Business, or other technical discipline and 5 years' experience managing complex projects and/or programs.

* Experience in healthcare patient safety is highly desired.

* PMP certification is highly desired.

* Knowledge of Federal government contracts and programs.

* Must have good analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and highly effective organizational skills.

* Must be able to adapt to a changing environment.

* Must be proficient in all MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Must have excellent leadership skills.

* Knowledge of military health system is highly desired.

* Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
