WHAT WE OFFER

The Pricing Manager is the regional price manager for Engineering Plastics (EP) North America responsible for key aspects of the Vendavo Pricing system for EP, including maintenance of the system such as adding materials, price build up information, training of new users, and representing the BE/Region on the global project team.This position reports to the head of Regional Product Planning and Supply for North America.

Major Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Regional price manager for EP NA. Responsible for key aspects of the Vendavo Pricing system and future DICE system for EP, including maintenance of the system such as adding materials, price build up information, training of new users, and representing the BE/Region on the global project team.
  • Calculates COGs used in business cases, list pricing for distribution, ensures negative margin customer/products are documented appropriately, and performs other pricing/margin analysis Demand Planning.
  • Owns the statistical forecasting process for EP NA, responsible for consolidating sales forecasts from sales and prepares demand review for unconstrained demand sign-off. Will analyze historical demand to determine the best statistical forecast model to use if appropriate.
  • USMCA Certification compliance - monitor mixture of imports and domestic feedstock usage to ensure compliance maintained for USMCA certification.
  • Raw Materials Coordination - Supports BE's efforts on reducing raw material risks as directed by Compounding Control Tower Lead.
  • Coordinator for Raw Material Risk Mitigation process.
  • Miscellaneous RPPS Support - Position will support other members of the Regional Planning and Product Supply group as needed.

WHAT YOU OFFER

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of business experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of business experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma certification

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Capable SAP user, Business Warehouse
  • People skills and able to find compromise
  • Consistently delivers highly detailed work.
  • Has a drive for results and knows how to make things happen
  • Ability to share focus between Covestro and customers Sales, marketing, production or product management experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills as well as intermediate Microsoft Powerpoint capabilities.
  • Analytical skills and ability to contribute to planning based on analysis.
