What we do:

The Trade Desk's Inventory Management team is working with leading publishers and supply-side platforms in the world across TV, audio, news, out-of-home, and many more, to transform and grow the premium open internet and build a better marketplace in which brands, publishers and users benefit from increased transparency, efficiency, privacy and relevancy in digital advertising.

What You'll Do



  • Partner Management:Oversee a book of business managing 50-100+ publisher and SSP partnership accounts, ensuring priority alignment to achieve long-term success.
  • Performance Oversight: Develop a discipline for active partnership oversight to monitor performance, address escalations promptly, and drive commercial, product, and operational improvements.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic publishers and SSPs across North America, fostering a trusted advisor approach.
  • Collaborative Initiatives: Partner with Product and Inventory Development teams to execute a roadmap of supply-focused initiatives that fuel business growth in North America.
  • Escalation Management: Serve as a key decision-maker and escalation point for North America publisher and SSP partnerships.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing team, inspiring through vision and purpose while enabling professional growth at all levels.
  • Global Coordination: Enhance global collaboration by aligning with EMEA and APAC Inventory Management teams on global accounts and initiatives.
  • Talent Development: Attract, retain, and nurture top talent while overseeing hiring and organizational planning.
  • Advocate for TTD's Value: Clearly articulate and communicate TTD's value proposition and technology in diverse contexts.
  • Cultural Stewardship: Set the tone for North America's Inventory Management team, contributing to a culture of excellence, adaptability, and continuous improvement.



What You Bring to the Table



  • Proven Leadership: A demonstrated track record of managing and inspiring high-performing teams with a collaborative and adaptable leadership style.
  • Execution-Oriented: Experience leading scaled teams to deliver on multi-year plans with a focus on prioritization and impactful outcomes.
  • Extensive Experience: 10+ years in account management, business development, or operations within ad tech, media, or related industries.
  • Relationship Builder: Ability to establish and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives and industry partners.
  • Industry Insight: Deep understanding of the North America media landscape and emerging trends in programmatic advertising.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working closely with Commercial, Product, and Operations teams to align and execute strategies.
  • Strategic Problem Solver: Strong critical thinking, questioning, and communication skills, coupled with the ability to guide teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfort with complex concepts and the ability to quickly grasp new technologies and product updates.
  • Highly Organized: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Decision Making Capability:Proven capability to think through challenging situations and make well founded decisions

NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$181,400 $332,600 USD
