General Information: Payroll Services at James Madison University is accepting applications for a newly added position, Payroll Tax & Reconciliation Specialist. Duties and Responsibilities: This position serves a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all foreign national payments, as well as preparing the 1042/1042S year-end tax documents. This position will manage the Job Data interface with the Cardinal HCM system, ensuring accuracy and integrity of key data points by reviewing Cardinal error reports; resolving discrepancies between Cardinal and PeopleSoft, submitting tickets where needed. The position will be responsible for completion of monthly US Department of Labor-Bureau of Labor Statistics reporting and the monthly DHRM reconciliation of health care plans, as well as, the quarterly health care remittance requirements. Timely completion of monthly checking account reconciliations for the Payroll and SRT accounts, ensuring liability accounts have been balanced.
