Your Role With Us:As a Monitor Technician in the Virtual Care department, you will play a key role in supporting patient care with advanced remote technologies. Your primary responsibility will be continuously monitoring telemetry ensuring our patients' data is accurately tracked. When critical changes occur you will promptly communicate to the appropriate nursing staff. This role is designed to help reduce the burden on clinical team members by ensuring the patient's telemetry is being monitored continuously, provider parameters are met and clinical alarms are escalated as necessary. By helping maintain constant vigilance over patients' telemetry data, you will directly contribute to the improvement of patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care provided by the healthcare team. In addition to monitoring patient data, your role as a Monitor Technician will require strong communication and teamwork skills. You will work closely with the nursing team to ensure continuity of care and to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Whether you are tracking telemetry rhythms, maintaining accurate records, or providing crucial updates on actionable alarms, your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks will be essential.
