Job Description

Become a champion for children's health with a career at Children's Hospital Association. We serve with purpose and passion to help 220 member children's hospitals improve kids' health and well-being.

Where You'll Work

This part-time position will work remotely, with occasional training or team meetings in our home office in Lenexa, Kansas. The schedule will vary based on the needs of the team, fluctuating between 5-15 hours per week.

What You'll Do
This position will report to the Director of Learning & Performance and will collaborate with internal staff and subject matter experts to design and develop pediatric-focused clinical content that support the training of staff in participating hospitals.



  • Instructionally designs and develops engaging content and blended learning solutions using a performance-based, learner-centered approach.





  • Collaborates closely with Product Line Managers and educators to ensure eLearning content addresses the needs of target learners.





  • Evaluates and edits existing content and solutions for clarity, accuracy, and comprehensiveness.





  • Completes other tasks as assigned (e.g., record keeping and storage verification).



Experience and Skills

What You'll Bring to CHA



  • Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design or similar required.





  • 1-3 years of experience in instructional design of online courseware.





  • Experience developing and instructionally designing clinical-focused (e.g., disease processes, etc.) education for nurses and/or various health care disciplines highly preferred.





  • Strong project management and leadership skills to achieve desired outcomes and design timelines
