Infrastructure Managed Service Manager (Accenture LLP; Austin, TX): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Infrastructure Managed Service Manager in Austin, TX, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Plan, design, create and deploy databases to support new releases.
  • Monitor and manage databases for performance tuning, growth, health, security patches, backup and recovery, and upgrades.
  • Clone and refresh databases for development and test environments.
  • Create new users, and maintain user accounts across databases.
  • Create and implement auditing policies.
  • Review functional and technical design documents for new releases.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), SQL and PL/SQL;
  • Performing database backup and recovery utilizing RMAN and Shell Script;
  • Utilizing SQL Trace, Explain Plans, and Automatic Workload Repositories (AWR) for performance tuning of SQLs;
  • Utilizing Oracle Exadata to manage database workloads; and
  • Utilizing database Audit Vault to monitor database traffic and support compliance reporting.

Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Implementing Transparent Data Encryption;
  • Upgrading databases and database migration; and
  • Monitoring database workloads and identifying areas that can be tuned to improve overall performance.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
