Job Summary

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Full Stack Developer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.

You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our engineers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we're doing wrong, so we can fix it, and what we're doing right, so we can improve on it. Location: Dallas, Texas; Remote in Eastern or Central Time Zone

Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using SQL Server, C#, SQL, Angular, JavaScript, and .Net Framework. Proactive learning/involvement in any new technological initiatives being driven.

* Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements.

* Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.

* Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster their growth and development.

* Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal functionality and performance.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.

* Work closely with product managers and collaborators to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

* Implement standard methodologies for software development, including version control, continuous integration, and automated testing.

* Contribute to the documentation of software design, architecture, and technical specifications.

* Assist in the estimation and planning of development tasks and projects.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including security and data protection standards.

* Provide support and solving for production issues as needed.

Qualifications

* 7 to 11 years of experience in development.

* Expertise in Angular 18+, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML 5, CSS 3, SASS, .NET Core/.NET Framework version8, AWS SDK, MS SQL Server, including strong SQL skills, Stored Procedures/Function/Triggers development skills, SSRS, SSIS

* Cloud: Docker, AWS.

* Worked with BitBucket, CB Jenkins Pipelines.

* Willingness to learn new technologies and industry standard methodologies/trends.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 20 January 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 - $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
