Overview
Interstates is seeking a qualified Engineering Manager for the power discipline within our Electrical design department. The Engineering Manager will oversee a team of approximately 50 engineers, designers, analysts, and techs. This delivery leader is responsible for the growth of technical skills within the discipline, ensuring standard processes are followed and quality benchmarks are met. Additional Information: The pay range for this position is $100k to $125k+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Qualifications Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: An Engineering Manager is required to have a B.S. degree from a four-year ABET-accredited engineering program. Candidates should have 5-7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, demonstrating a high level of expertise and leadership in engineering projects. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required, or the candidate must be eligible to become a licensed PE or be registered in at least one governing authority. In addition, candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of electrical terminology and components, electrical symbols, and the National Electric Code (NEC). Capability in design and drafting software is preferred to support detailed design and project development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex, large-scale projects, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative engineering solutions that meet client and regulatory requirements. Travel Requirements: Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements. Travel should not exceed 30% of your time.
