The ideal candidate will have a strong background in successfully driving forward software development projects, a superior understanding of Agile practices, a background in UI/UX design, and an understanding of modern software development processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross functional teams that are developing scalable, reliable, and performant applications that meet the evolving needs of our stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. * Oversee the operations, development, and implementation of multiple projects within programs. * Coordinate time, budget, and resources to complete work within program guidelines and report to the program manager on progress and any changes to the initial project plan. * Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports. * Provide UI/UX design support for application development * Design support for the application's visual elements like buttons, menus, forms, and navigation * Identify areas in the application where users might be encountering difficulties due to poor design * Experience helping users navigate and interact with the application through design of visual elements, layout, and overall flow * Focus on executing and managing the functional elements of the projects, including meeting deadlines, delegating tasks, and completing deliverables. * Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project. * Conducted project meetings and was responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. * Guides priorities resulting from customer and stakeholder engagement. * Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. * Facilitate functional and operational level software test events * Contribute to Software team staffing, talent development, and hiring decisions * Work as a team throughout the design process, supporting sprint planning sessions, code reviews, and scrums Required Skills * Speaking to and collaborating with a variety of people, such as clients, vendors, management and information technology (IT) staff during the creation of a system * Superior ability to utilize Agile practices and development methodology * Facilitate and execute Scrum ceremonies in accordance with Agile practices * Ability to manage projects schedules, milestones, and deliverables * Ability to interact and brief customers and stakeholders on a technical and non-technical level * Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner * Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress * Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution * Excellent planning and organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure with numerous deadlines; exceptional time management and organization; ability and initiative to automate internal processes to improve operational efficiency * Ability to work on high-performing teams * Embody Metronome's Core Values and Mantra in all interactions * Strong relationship-building skills and ability to maintain strong relationships with peers, teams and business partners * Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth potential environment with a sense of urgency to provide immediate value * Willingness to accept new challenges and grow alongside Metronome's needs * Proven expert performance as a positive change driver and leader * Highly adaptive and flexible, able to be comfortable with rapidly changing requirements Qualifications * B.S. in Business Administration or related field * 10+ years of experience in Product or Project Management * 5+ years of experience leading Software Development Projects * 3+ years of UI/UX experience * Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain) |
