LyondellBasell (LYB) is searching for a Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Team Lead for the Houston Technology Center (HTC), located in Channelview, TX. HTC functions as the Research and Development (R&D) Center for LyondellBasell's global Intermediates and Derivatives and Olefins businesses. We identify technological advancements that drive process and technology improvements, allowing LYB to sustain and build on our competitive advantages. HTC is located 19 miles from downtown Houston. The Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Team Lead role is a unique, valuable opportunity to gain both engineering and leadership experience. The Electrical Engineer will be accountable for all electrical engineering activities at the site including day-to-day support, site projects and pilot plant design. Additionally, this role will lead the site's maintenance activities including planning and scheduling. It is expected that the successful candidate brings a strategic yet practical approach to the role in order to improve site processes, reliability, maintenance activities and technical solutions. * Provide Electrical Engineering support to the Design Engineer, Facilities, Maintenance and Operations groups. Min. Qualifications
* A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of petrochemical industry experience Preferred Qualifications
