Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

Safely strip and wash plates while meeting all specification and quality requirements. Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with all other team members throughout your shift. Actively maintain a clean and organized 5S work area and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

COMPENSATION: $23.92/hour + $1.20 for working nights and 1.5x pay on Sunday's!

SHIFT: 2-2-3 Rotating Shift (5:00-5:00)

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Act as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities
  • Support and actively participate in department process improvement and safety initiatives
  • Promotes safety culture by positively communicating safety concerns/risks to co-workers, Leads, Supervisors, Managers, visitors, and all others in the facility
  • Immediately notifies Co-workers, Leads, and Supervisors /Management of Quality concerns/issues
  • Maintain a respectful and collaborative work environment
  • Remove plate material from sleeves and cylinders
  • Operate the plate cleaner
  • Assist other team members with retrieving and putting away sleeves and cylinders
  • Analyze problems and troubleshoot solutions
  • Maintain company requirements for food safety and cleanliness
  • Additional duties as assigned

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

  • Lead with safety as a value
  • Effective communications skills, both oral and written
  • Able to work both independently and with others while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Basic working knowledge of AIMS and BICO
  • The ability to multitask and meet production goals
  • One year of related manufacturing experience
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience in a similar role would be an advantage before assuming these responsibilities
