Collection Manager - Mid This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance. Cherokee Analytics is seeking exceptionally qualified individuals to serve as Collection Managers at the mid-level in support of the U.S. Army Operations Group (AOG) at Ft. Meade, MD. The Collection Manager shall integrate the results of source management information, targeting packages, and analytical outreach to coordinate the production of Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs) and focus AOG collection efforts against prioritized Army requirements. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Collection Manager - Mid Responsibilities Include:
- Review, edit, coordinate, and publish IIRs, Notices of Intelligence Potential (NIP) Reports, and other HUMINT reports in HUMINT Online Tasking and Reporting (HOT-R) (or other succeeding enterprise system)
- Manage the AOG HOT-R queues, ensuring proper accesses and authorities
- Conduct outreach to analytical customers to focus AOG collection efforts against prioritized Army requirements and make recommendations to inform the collection managers
- Produce HUMINT Collection Management Reviews (CMRs) for current operations
- Produce routine Production Reports (PRs) of past collection operations, citing completed reports, evaluations, Finished Intelligence (FINTEL) citations, SDRs, and tasked HUMINT requirements
- Provide succinct feedback to field collectors, identify intelligence gaps, develop and implement a comprehensive and detailed collection plan
- Research, assess, and provide recommendations to the AOG staff for presentation to internal and external audiences
- Participate in specified meetings, briefings, conferences, seminars, progress reviews, and annual training events as needed
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Collection Manager - Mid Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Five (5) years of experience within the IC, must include knowledge and experience with intelligence operations and its various disciplines, functions, processes, and documentation, with two (2) years of experience in HUMINT Collection Management or HUMINT Operations.
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Experience with intelligence automated systems, specifically HOT-R or CHROME COM.
- Experience in managing research and coordination for projects.
- Experience in instructing and interacting with small groups on data and information requirements and coordination tasks.
- Experience with all-source intelligence processes, data evaluation, and analysis.
- Specialized training from any intelligence collection and analysis school or certification.
- Existing knowledge and understanding of DoD classification guides, DoD HUMINT reporting and dissemination manuals, and Intelligence Oversight policies and regulations as it pertains to HUMINT publications.
- Knowledge of Army structure and defense level intelligence operations; intelligence collection, fusion analysis, production, and dissemination for intelligence databases and products.
- Knowledge of intelligence oversight and security guidelines pertaining to HUMINT reporting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for preparing, presenting, and communicating complex topics using available multimedia software and applications.
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art intelligence analysis tools.
- Preferred
- Experience in delivering global situational awareness in support of planning, synchronization, decision making and execution of client missions.
- Detailed knowledge of DIA, NSA, CIA, DEA, FBI, and Departments of Treasury and State programs and products.
- At least eight (8) years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the responsibilities and requirements of the Collection Manager position with at least a portion of the experience within the last two (2) years.
- Bachelor's degree in an area related to the responsibilities and requirements of the Collection Manager position from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
