The Application Processor I serves as a member of the Application Processing Team in the Office of Enrollment Operations and is primarily responsible for processing and evaluating applications and academic credentials to determine admissibility to UT Dallas utilizing University admission criteria. |
Minimum Education and Experience |
- High School Diploma,
GED or its equivalent. - 3 years experience working in a professional environment. |

Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Process applications for admission to undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and non-degree programs to determine applicant eligibility.
- Process and evaluate applicant transcripts, test scores, English proficiency scores, and other application-related documents, which involves reviewing and verifying large amounts of data for accuracy and completeness in a timely manner
- Determine residency status.
- Review and perform data entry of all applications and application-related materials and other educational information into student information systems and application to-do lists, which impacts information displayed in the Applicant Center and applicant communications.
- Utilize various software platforms including PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, OnBase, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite to assist in the application and admission review processes.
- Follow FERPA regulations and maintain a high level of confidentiality to review and process protected educational documents and information.
- Provide exemplary customer service via e-mail and telephone to internal and external customers, including applicants, students, and University staff, and respond to Enrollment Support Console e-mails related to application and admission.
- Maintain knowledge of institutional, state, and federal regulations and UT Dallas policies related to application and admission to University academic programs.
- Assist with Offices of Admissions and Enrollment Operations events and attend required meetings as assigned.
- Participate in various trainings and professional development opportunities to stay current and improve knowledge of policies, trends, and platforms related to application processing.

Additional Information |
This position may require overtime work during peak periods, including evenings and weekends.
An equivalent combination of completed education and work experience may be accepted for this position.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new software
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, and understanding of cross-cultural communication needs to provide effective customer service

- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working on deadline-driven tasks

Remote Work Notice
A
hybrid work schedule may be available, subject to business needs and departmental approval.
Employee must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice.
Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be cancelled.
