Key Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
- Influence and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy aligned with business goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to People team on compensation matters.
- Monitor trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the company's compensation programs remain competitive and compliant.
Program Design and Management
- Lead the design and administration of salary structures, incentive plans, and other compensation initiatives.
- Manage compensation benchmarking and survey strategy. Evaluate and benchmark jobs to ensure competitive positioning within the market.
- Oversee the annual compensation review cycle, including reward increases, bonus allocations, etc.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Lead analysis on the best survey to use for benchmarking
- Analyze compensation data and market trends to make data-driven recommendations.
- Prepare and present reports for executives and stakeholders on compensation strategy, metrics and effectiveness.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations, including FLSA, pay equity laws, and others.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate risks related to compensation practices.
Collaboration and Communication
- Partner with Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to address compensation challenges and develop tailored solutions.
- Communicate compensation philosophy and policies effectively to employees and managers, driving toward a culture of pay transparency.
