Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing Technician (Level 2 or 3), we have an exciting opportunity for you! In this role, you will record and perform testing of production components, control systems and cabinets to Woodward specifications. This position performs intermediate level of troubleshooting and repair of production and Customer owned products and will also assist Engineering departments as needed to ensure products are tested.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Tests production modules and/or systems following written procedures at advanced level
  • Troubleshoots failing units down to the component level under limited supervision
  • Creates documentation as required by written procedures
  • May participate with Engineering to develop and improve Woodward testing capabilities
  • Follows and may create Test Specification Procedures (TSP) as required in collaboration with Engineering
  • Conducts on the job training of others as required
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities
  • Control of material movement and machine availability in line with agreed work orders
  • Will participate in Customer Acceptance Tests
  • Responsible for work and labor allocation within designated area and highlighting bottle necks or problems

What We Are Looking For

  • Associate's degree Applied Science degree in Electronics or Associates of Applied Science degree with electronics coursework (or equivalent military experience).
  • Electronic/ Electrical Technician experience beyond educational requirements or equivalent demonstrated proficiency required. 2-5 years for a level 2; 5+ years required for a Level 3.
  • Solid knowledge of electro-mechanical theory.
  • Solid ability to apply a systematic problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to read and understand many different types of documentation (i.e. schematics, build books, bills of materials).
  • Ability to learn and apply a variety of more complex computer applications.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to perform module replacements, wiring and cabling according to wiring diagrams, schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Advanced ability to troubleshoot to a component level using intermediate technical skills using standard equipment.
  • Solid level communication skills. Ability to mentor and provide guidance to other members.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical theory including analog and digital circuits.
