Job Summary

The Assistant Manager Revenue Recovery supports our People by managing a Team in the day-to-day activities in a predominately back-office support processing/transactional environment. This role provides input on controls, processes, and strategy to maximize compliance, productivity, and scalability of department leveraging systems and automation. They'll also serve as a Customer compensation and credit card fraud/disputes subject matter expert on Company-wide and Finance projects having deep process and technical knowledge of relevant financial systems, processes, and associated integrations. The Assistant Manager Revenue Recovery is a detail orientated thinker who is ready to drive the future of the Finance Department.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Manger with implementing and enforcing processes, policies, and procedures, to optimize asset protection, reduce losses, and minimize risk.
  • Support Manager in translating Team expectations into actionable steps, and clearly communicate Team's responsibilities and processes; monitor transactions, trends, and productivity; measure results; and prioritize work and resources to meet expected results
  • Provide input on controls, processes, and strategy to maximize compliance, productivity, and scalability of Department.
  • Collect department transactional data, analyze and compile for presentation to Leadership
  • Collaborate with Business and Technology resources on financial and operational system upgrades, modifications, process improvements and projects, and advise on associated internal control requirements and potential risks
  • Communicate with competitors, suppliers, professional organizations, or others to understand industry or business trends
  • Develop ideas to improve processes, improve efficiency, and reduce risks
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of process and industry best-practices and manages Team through continuous improvement to maximize compliance, productivity, and scalability
  • Skilled in effectively communicating information and ideas in a concise and compelling story-line using all forms of communication, tailoring tone, style and content to the intended audience
  • Ability to anticipate future or strategic trends within the industry and assessing implications for the team and escalates to Leaders
  • Ability to translate Company objectives into day-to-day activities and behaviors
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Fully functioning, broad knowledge in:
    • Financial and operations systems and/or processes
    • Presentation and explanation of financial results to various levels of leadership

Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information
  • Must have the flexibility to work extended hours, including occasional weekends, and Company holidays

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $100,700.00 - $111,900.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
