Job Summary:
The Burlington group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dye Technical Manager to oversee our dye process and dyehouse operations at our manufacturing location in Raeford, NC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dyeing processes, exceptional leadership abilities, and proven project management skills. This role is essential for ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation within our automated dyeing departments.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage the automated dyehouse team, distributing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
  • Provide technical expertise in fabric, package, and/or stock dyeing processes under strict color control.
  • Oversee all dyeing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies regarding quality, safety, and sustainability.
  • Develop and implement dyeing strategies and processes that enhance productivity and reduce waste while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets to achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze dyeing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to dyeing processes.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a dyehouse environment, with a focus on technical management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and influence stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of dyeing techniques, color theory, and textile chemistry.
