Essential Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks on the labor crew to support mining operations
  • Have the experience or have the ability to learn, sample collection, pipe laying and backfilling trenches
  • Will complete production reporting and other documentation as required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
  • Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous mining experience is preferred however, not necessary
  • Demonstrates an awareness and understanding of mining safety and MSHA policies
  • Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred (will provide training for this certification if necessary)

Work Conditions:

  • Ability to work overtime when required
