Essential Responsibilities: Perform tasks on the labor crew to support mining operations Have the experience or have the ability to learn, sample collection, pipe laying and backfilling trenches Will complete production reporting and other documentation as required Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other team members Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures Qualifications: Previous mining experience is preferred however, not necessary Demonstrates an awareness and understanding of mining safety and MSHA policies Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred (will provide training for this certification if necessary) Work Conditions: Ability to work overtime when required Additional Information Ledcor Heavy Civil and Mining services reach across the lifespan of a mine, from facility construction, to full-scale contract mining of coal, minerals, or metals, all the way to mine reclamation.
