Regional Occup Health Nurse - Corporate Location(s): Fresno, CA, US Function: Envir, Health and Safety Audience: Experienced Professional Work Arrangement: Remote Requisition ID: 63899 Regional Occupational Health Nurse Job Overview, Basic Function and Responsibilities. This non-supervisory position is responsible for the provision and management of occupational health and wellness services for the business or region. There is an expectation that the incumbent will travel to the regional facilities periodically throughout the year. Duties include coordinating health initiatives on behalf of employees and contractors, individually, and in partnership with the local medical community when applicable. The incumbent will interact and collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to prevent and manage injuries and illnesses and to promote health, wellness, productivity, and safety within the facilities/plants. This will be accomplished by planning, implementing, and managing health-related programs, engaging in first aid treatment, and case managing both work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses. This position reports directly to the Corporate Medical Director or Occupational Health and Wellness Manager. Location: This role can be hybrid or remote with preference for candidates located in the Eastern, Southeastern, Midwest, or Western United States with ability to travel up to 50% to support our Doors locations. Licensing, Credentialing and Personal Competencies:
Desirable Skills and Attributes: Position requires a RN degree with 3-5 years experience in occupational health. Previous emergency room experience preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. Certification in occupational and environmental health nursing and case management is highly desirable. Must be ACLS certified. Certification in DOT drug and alcohol collection, spirometry and hearing conservation is preferred. Individual must be highly motivated, self-directed with the ability to work independently and have strong interpersonal, communication and computer skills. The base salary range for this position is $110,000, with the potential for up to an additional 25% if the applicant hired has additional related qualifications.
