Position Summary

The Program Coordinator will report to the Director, Planning and Business Process Optimization and is part of Tandon's Shared Services Team. This position will provide administrative support to designated departments. Responsibilities include processing appointments, onboarding new employees, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and costing. Coordinates time-sensitive submission of visa applications and student intern forms.


Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business or related field

Required Experience:
3+ years experience working in a academic or business setting

Preferred Experience:
3+ years Extensive positive interaction with people and a highly developed focus on "customer satisfaction".

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong proficiency with Excel, spreadsheets, payroll calculations and with Microsoft and Google suite applications. Highly organized and detail oriented. Must exercise discretion with confidential information. Excellent problem solving, customer service, issue resolution, and follow-up. Must demonstrate ability to work as a team member and prioritize work. Exercise sound judgment and business acumen. Must have thoughtful and polished interpersonal skills. Creative, strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to evaluate and improve processes. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to write clear and concise business correspondence and documentation. Positive, can-do attitude with continuous improvement mindset.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $42.305. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
