Description & Requirements

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking a mid-level Associate or Patent Agent to join the Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group in any office.


Candidates will have between 3 to 6 years of patent prosecution experience, including application drafting. Candidates will have a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar field. Knowledge and experience with other forms of IP are a plus.
Candidates must have outstanding written and oral communication skills, excellent academic credentials, and strong organizational and analytical abilities. Associate candidates must be barred in the state in which they will work. All candidates must be registered with the USPTO.

The national average salary range for this Associate role is $205,000-$305,000. The national average salary range for this Patent Agent role is $99,600-$145,800. Starting salary will be determined based on location, qualifications, and experience.
