Facilities Data & Records Analyst Staffing Intern

Rockland Trust is hiring a Summer Intern to join our Facilities Operations team in 2025. This position is 40 hours weekly (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) and will be in office at our Rockland Facility.

The Facilities Data and Records Analyst researches, compiles, analyzes, and evaluates data and information related to all Rockland Trust Facilities. The individual will assist with the development of financial, budgetary, statistical, and operational reports used for planning, administering, and managing the company's planned facility life cycle program.

Responsibilities include:



  • Collect, review, audit, analyze, and organize data and information related to all Rockland Trust facilities.
  • Review all facility and property documents, service agreements, and completed facility projects for all Rockland Trust facilities.
  • Assist with the drafting, development and implementation of a facility life cycle plan.
  • Determine what needs are not being met at a facility.
  • Establish clear goals and objectives for facility assets, including the functional and technical requirements, and the environmental, social, and economic impacts.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with facility assets.
  • Make sure facility assets meet all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with budget for the acquisition, maintenance, depreciation, replacement, and disposal of facility assets.
  • Plan for maintenance: Create scheduled work requests for preventative maintenance to reduce the risk of unplanned breakdowns.
  • Plan for capital improvements: Simplify the process of upgrading physical assets, such as equipment or processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.


Required Skills:



  • College Junior or Senior
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • General understanding of commercial property management, leasing practices, real estate market conditions, and industry standards related to acquiring, managing and renovating space.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and effectively communicate findings and recommendations
  • Exceptional ability to self-manage, work independently as well as collaboratively with team members and in cross-department environments, and to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously


Working Environment:



  • Normal office requirements.
    Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional travel within RTC territory may be required for evaluating facility needs and current condition.
