Rockland Trust is seeking a summer intern to provide support to the Retail Training team which oversees Operational and Sales training for the bank branch and call center employees. The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as, organizational, computer and customer service skills. The Rockland Trust Retail Learning & Development team organizes and offers a blend of in-person and virtual instructor led training conducted at various locations across the bank footprint. In addition, the department also creates and implements digital self-guided courses for retail banking staff.

Work Location: Hybrid - example: 3 days in various satellite locations, 2 days remote (flexible)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;



  • Assist with the in-person or virtual classroom setup, preparation, breakdown and post-training items
  • Support the trainers and managers in the delivery of class
  • Support the team Learning Coordinators with various administrative tasks including the creation of class offerings in the Learning Management System, handling trainee enrollments and tracking staff training needs
  • Assist the Retail Learning & Development Training Team with administrative tasks and projects as needed


Qualifications



  • Ability to travel amongst the footprint to different training locations
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrates a focused, organized, systematic approach to accomplishing tasks and goals
  • Flexible self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a face-paced multitask environment.
  • Rising Juniors or Seniors studying Business or related degree preferred
