EnSafe is accepting applications for a Senior Environmental Project Manager position in its Hartford, CT, office.

What We Are Looking For

As a Senior Environmental Project Manager, you will work on various projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Project management, including proposal writing, budget tracking, and client communications
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to advance local, regional, and corporate goals
  • Preparing documents under state and federal programs, including the CT Property Transfer Program
  • Preparing and reviewing technical reports and work plans
  • Reviewing, compiling, and interpreting investigation data, evaluations of potential responses /corrective actions, and feasibility studies
  • Mentoring mid and junior-level staff
  • Assisting with regional business development/proposal efforts

Qualifications:

  • BS in engineering, geology, or appropriate technical discipline
  • Demonstrable leadership experience (e.g. office, teams, large projects)
  • CT LEP; or CT LEP Track and PE or PG
  • Knowledge of CT RSRs, CERCLA, RCRA, NYSDEC DER-10, and other environmental legislation
  • Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought
  • Strong consulting, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • State, municipal, and federal contracts/project management
  • Experience conducting work within the NE regional states
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to travel 30% regionally
