Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Pay rate: $30 - $33/hr.

HVAC Technician essential tasks:



  • Conduct thorough preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspections, repairs, and replacements for belts, pulleys, condensate drains, compressors, motors, burners, and controls.
  • Safely and efficiently handle repairs for steam/hot water boiler systems and diagnose airflow and ducting issues.
  • Use refrigerants in an EPA-compliant manner to service HVAC systems and repair mechanical, electrical, or system failures, including motors, compressors, condensing units, evaporators, and circuit boards.
  • Perform minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical maintenance tasks to maintain facilities in like-new condition.
  • Complete service and asset inspections as required, utilizing technology to document work, submit reports, and manage administrative tasks.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, timely service, and a positive client relationship while adhering to safety and compliance training.
  • Provide estimates for larger projects and perform additional duties as assigned in compliance with company standards.


Requirements:



  • HS diploma, degree/certification, or equivalent experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing), or Specialty Floor Care preferred.
  • 2-year HVAC technical certificate or state-approved HVAC license, with 5 years of HVAC/general maintenance experience required.
  • Must have an EPA Universal Refrigeration License and applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license.
  • Proficient in using handheld devices, document management software, and Microsoft Office to manage work orders and communications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, regulatory codes, and perform day-to-day repairs and preventive maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, with daily local travel between properties.
