Major/Essential Functions


  • Responsible for maintaining all aspects of contracts for faculty within the SPED and C&I departments and Centers in the College of Education. The paperwork my include project setup, invoicing, payroll, POs and travel.
  • Attend training workshops and any other departmental and University recurring meetings as appropriate to assist in performing duties accurately.
  • Meeting deadlines to process all ePAFs, labor redistributions, one-time payments, and associated payroll paperwork in accordance with University guidelines.
  • Making decisions an taking appropriate actions and understanding the consequences of potential errors that directly impact the College and University.
  • Process instructor searches paperwork including requesting new positions, posting positions in Kenexa, monitoring search positions, working with CoE Admin and search committees.
  • Appropriate use of Banner/Cognos to ensure accuracy of FOPs and associated balances when processing expenditures. Reconcile payroll and other expenditures, accurately and at least monthly.
  • Meeting deadlines to process all budget revisions, cost transfers, purchase orders, p-cards, travel, and the like in accordance with University guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in job related field with major coursework in accounting plus three years experience in government or commercial accounting. Specific job related experience may substitute for required education on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Accounting, bookkeeping, and organizational skills. Attention to detail. Problem solving skills.
