Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work Onsite for our client in Buffalo, NY Interested?

Here's what you'll do:

  • Serves as technologist for an individual technology or set of technologies.
  • Work closely with Technology management, more experienced Engineers, and support teams on a regular basis to implement and manage the design, development, and execution of technical solutions that meet or exceed current and future needs of the organization.
  • Responsibilities may include infrastructure review, implementation, and design, creation of support and architectural documentation, standards, policies, analysis, and testing.
  • Regularly and independently interact with business partners of varying associate and management levels to ensure clarity of the problem/opportunity and elicit business requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings and conference calls with vendors, internal staff, and senior professionals.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators. Review documentation, proposals, and changes proposed by less experienced staff.
  • Seek to expand knowledge and understanding of financial services trends, practices, and technologies on a continuous basis.
  • Follow and promote use of industry best practices, standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of specific systems and services supported by department.
  • Work with senior technical staff to understand, manage, and support elements of the Bank service catalog.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.
  • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client Bank brand.
  • Maintain client internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
  • Performing operational activities as defined by CM policies and procedures
  • Fulfilling CM service requests as assigned
  • Engaging with strategic projects to ensure CM can deliver required functionality within project time frames
  • Mentoring the organization on CM services, concepts, policies, and procedures
  • Overseeing the design, coding, and testing of reports as needed
  • Collecting and reporting on metrics as required
  • Identifying and reporting on noncompliance situations
  • Performing CM audits as directed
  • Identifying service improvement opportunities
  • Mentoring and helping direct configuration management specialists

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $63.43 /Hour

Hours: 40 hours/week

Length: Contract (6 months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in systems design, management and architecture.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a technical engineering position involving infrastructure design technologies, data management and interchange, system design and development for complex applications.
  • Ability to translate complex business and functional requirements into structured high quality implementations using any variety of industry standard approaches.
  • Advanced technical skills.

  • Knowledge and expertise in industry and/or vendor technologies.
