Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Med Surg & Oncology

Job Overview: The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing clinical nursing expertise to bedside staff to promote an environment of safe and effective care for all patients. The individual in this position will provide complex wound care, perform palliative care assessments, and lead nursing teams to promote safe and evidence-based patient care. The main specialties supported will include Med Surg and Oncology.

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN License or approved compact RN license required
• ASN or BSN from an accredited School of Nursing required; MSN required
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience of acute care nursing required
• Experience is Med Surg, Oncology, and/or a comparable specialty is preferred
• Current Advanced Practice (APRN), Clinical Nursing Specialist (CNS), and/or National Certification in a specialty area is preferred
• An ability to perform all the competencies of the position is required
