The Financial Operations Officer (FOO) for the department of Research reports to the School of Medicine's Chief Financial & Administrative Officer (CFAO), Associate Dean, Biomedical Sciences, and Associate Dean, Clinical Research. The Financial Operations Officer will be responsible for providing data analysis and reporting for the School of Medicine's Research department which includes Biomedical Sciences Research, Clinical Sciences Research, and the Center for Health Disparities Research. The role is to turn data into information - to be able to access, analyze and present information from operational, financial, clinical and/or industry data sources to help guide decision-making for the school. The incumbent will be responsible for complex financial forecasting and analytics. The position will provide consultative financial support to Research leadership by advising on resolutions to financial problems and by making recommendations concerning the operating budget.
The full salary range for this position is $90,400 - $169,000 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $129,700 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. |
