Get to Know Your Team:

• Lovelace Women's Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

• Accurately schedules and pre-registers all patients for the region into six different computer programs for procedures and exams.
• Handles administration of technical prep direction and ensures accurate placement of patients on the various schedules at all facilities to enable timely delivery of service to the patient.
• Handles telephone calls in an efficient manner to meet corporate guidelines for waits and delays as well as meets abandonment ratio criteria.
• Handles customer account transactions, provides customer assistance including dealing with physician concerns, and ensures insurance data is collected accurately to alleviate authorization issues.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Medical Terminology

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Scheduling Knowledge is helpful.
• Registration and Insurance Knowledge
• One (1) year related experience
